…I’m willing and ready to engage the youths, harness their skills
All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Candidate for Anambra state House of Assembly, Ekwusigo constituency, Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme, has assured young minds that he is willing and ready to engage the youths and harness their skills.
Ofodeme who spoke to ANN in an interview at the Awka City Stadium stated that Anambra state government and the state Football Association (FA) are willing to make every skillful player in the state shine.Â
While commending Anambra state Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo for creating avenue for youths through skill and human capital development, he also appreciated the appointment of Hon. Chikelue illoenyosi as the FA chairman.
“The government of Professor Chukwuma Soludo is going to do wonders in the sports sector. Once you get a genuine and competent leader, there will always be progressive achievements within the system”.
Speaking on the performance of Enugu Rangers who have adopted the Awka City Stadium as its home ground, Ofodeme added by saying “Anambra and Enugu have always been one (Old Anambra state) before it was divided. Rangers International also belongs to Anambra state. Even though its an Enugu based team, the spirit of Anambra is with them.Â
‘The Anambra football lovers always come out in large numbers to support Enugu Rangers whenever they are playing because soccer has united the entire world. It’s an industry and one of the biggest business in the world with huge earnings. It can make enemies forget about their differences, come together and play the game.Â
” I urge all the youths who have the skill to come out and show themselves because the Anambra state government is willing and ready to harness hidden talents. With this stadium, this is the right time for Ndị Anambra to key in.
