A Chieftain of the Labour Party (LP) Chief Joe-Martins Uzodike has frowned at the spat between Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the church and with the traditional institution.
Chief Uzodike who spoke to Journalists in Awka on Monday said urged the governor to avoid such distractions but rather work harmoniously with them in the interest of the public.

Uzodike, a former Commissioner for Information in Anambra however commended Soludo for conducting a midterm review with a view to assessing the impact of his administration, stating that the governor had shown demonstrable desire to serve the masses genuinely.
The elder statesman said no public office in the mold of a government could conduct a candid self appraisal of himself if he did not have a genuine intention to deliver on his promises and meet the aspirations of the people.
“I have been briefed by some appointees of this government about the two day retreat organised by the governor and members of his exco as well as local government transition chairmen.
“I understand that the governor not only asked the appointees to present their scorecards but also asked them to give him feedback on the people’s assessment of his government.
“This is commendable, I want to thank the governor for his sincerity and I want to call on other people holding positions of trust to borrow a leaf and take time to assess themselves as Soludo has done,” he said.
When asked if he was dumping the Labour Party for the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Uzodike dismissed the insinuation noting that he was only being statesmen who should judge every action on its merit.
“According to him, this is not politics, I am speaking to issues as they are, when it is time for politics, we deal with that.
