Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the executive governor of Anambra state has nominated and send three names to the Anambra State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation as members of the Judicial Commission.
Governor Soludo through a letter addressed to Anambra Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze norminated
Dr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Obegolu, Dr. Ben Nwankwo and Hon. Victor Ezeoke.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Soludo also sent the names of Ezewaka Anthony Uchechukwu (Chairman), Bar. Chukwuma Christopher (Member), Mrs.Â
Okoli Philomina (Member), Mrs. Udealo Adobi Margaret (Member), and Dr. Ogbakalu Chidiebere (Member) as Members of Anambra State Civil Service CommissionÂ
In accordance to section 126 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Soludo norminated Mr. Akaosa Charles Okocha for the post of State Auditor General.Â
Governor Soludo also sent the name of Mrs. Josephine Nkolika Anyaegbunam as Auditor General for local government
Anambra Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze at plenary on Tuesday read the four letters sent by Governor Soludo.
Udeze referred the names to the House Committee on Screening and Electoral Matters chaired by the deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye.
The Speaker urged the Committee to report back to the House in the next adjourned date which is Thursday 3rd of October
