Anglican Bishop of Diocese of Amichi, Rt. Rev. Ephraim Ikeakor has implored Christians to run away from idolatry and seek true freedom in Jesus Christ.
Speaking on the last day of a three days
crusade held at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Bishop Ikeakor who was the guest preacher, urged Christians to seek God’s presence in life.
The Prelate emphasized the dangers of being enticed by worldly pleasures, warning that any form of worship or devotion outside Christ is a path to spiritual death.
In his remarks, the host of the programme and Archdeacon of Ofemili Archdeaconry, Venerable Goodness Amaechi, emphasized the need for Ebenebe community to stand firm in their faith and resist the growing allure of idolatrous practices taking over the society.

the Crusade, themed “”Out of Darkness into Light”, according to the organizers was carefully chosen to address the increasing spiritual challenges within the community, particularly the resurgence of idolatry.
