Soludo Receives Over 1,000 LP Members Into APGA In Awka

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has received over one thousand (1,000) former members of Labour party (LP) into All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA).

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the decampees led by their national coordinator, Chief Rochas Orji, along with state and local government coordinators were received at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center in Awka.

Receiving them, Governor Soludo described APGA as the foremost progressive party in Nigeria and reiterated his commitment towards creating an enabling environment for speedy transformation of the State.

The State Chairman of APGA, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye revealed that the mass exodus of ndị Anambra into the party is because Governor Soludo has worked more than his predecessors within a short period.

The Governor’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu in his speech revealed that they had been in talks with the group in the last six months.
