Tuokpe Onuwaje, the estranged wife of Nigerian author and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, has publicly accused him of neglecting their son with special needs, urging him to prioritize fatherhood over social media appearances.
In a strongly worded post shared on her verified Facebook page, Onuwaje alleged that Omokri has not spent time with their son since June 2024, over a year ago, despite regularly sharing photos with his other children online.
“Stop showing up just for photo ops—show up for real life,” she wrote, stressing that their son “is waiting for quality time with his dad, not just fleeting visits.”
Onuwaje further urged Omokri to put aside “social media validation” and embrace meaningful parenting, adding: “Real parenting happens in the everyday moments, not just in staged photos. Put down the camera.”
Omokri, a prominent public commentator, has not immediately responded to the allegations, though he recently shared a post praising his daughter, describing her as his “beautiful lookalike” after they worked out together in the gym..
