The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Senator Emmanuel Anosike has urged Ndi Anambra to open their eyes and align with APC at the centre under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
He stated this to newsmen shortly after a strategic meeting with APC stakeholders in the state, held in Awka, the state capital.
Senator Anosike said party leaders, loyal members and key figures came together with one shared aim—to reposition the APC as a strong, united and winning force in the state.
He noted that the meeting provided an opportunity to speak openly, settle differences and agree on a clear way forward, stressing that the party is on the rise, steady, focused and here to stay.
“The mood is clear from the start: this was not just another gathering, but a turning point.
“The bottom line of all we are doing is to sensitise our people so that everybody could be in one page while the programmes of the party is being assimilated by everybody.
“Everybody is happy. The excitement tells you that everybody that understands Nigerian politics wants to be at the centre. Nobody in Anambra today irrespective of your affiliation, wants to be at the centre, which only APC can guarantee.
“Let Ndi Anambra open their eyes and see where the whole Nigerians are going and be part of it. APC is opening its doors wider, offering a platform for growth, inclusion and real development.
“With fresh energy, a united front and a clear vision, the feeling is growing stronger: better days are not just hoped for, they are being built,” so concluded Senator Anosike who represented Anambra North Senatorial District in the National Assembly between 2003 and 2007 and currently, chairman, Anambra–Imo River Basin Development Authority (AIRBDA).
A woman leader from Otolo Nnewi, Dame Princess Esom Nwafor-Orizu, said mothers’ role in APC is to bring together family members including their husbands to deliver Mr President, senators, House of Representatives and House of Assembly members into their respective aspired positions.
“The meeting went well and was very organised in view of the quality of stakeholders that graced it.
“Women are the role models that hold any party. Just as the father is the head of the family, the mother is the owner of the family. Am confident that the new Women Leader is ready to deliver in the state,” she said.
On his part, the South East Coordinator, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria, High Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, thanked the leaders of the party and all the elected party officials who were selected based on the Principle of Public Accountability, to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in next year’s Presidential Election.
He noted that Mr President needs to finish his people-oriented reforms which has started yielding fruits, under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We just finished a strategic stakeholders meeting, which was the first after our convention (Congress at the local Government, State and the National).
“In mending fences, the party has set out a strategy to reconcile factions and aggrieved members. The party also touched on other administrative matters in relations to strengthening the party and selection of candidates for elective positions ahead of 2027.”
Engr Onunkwo further assured that APC is battle ready to renew President Tinubu’s mandate for the benefits of all Nigerians, pledging to sensitise Nigerians about 312 projects executed by the President’s administration.
“As the South East Coordinator, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria, ours is on the informative side. We have 312 projects executed by the President; hence, the need to enlighten our people what he has done in infrastructural development across the 36 states of the federation, legacy projects, roads, small and medium scale enterprises, coastal roads among others,” he concluded.###
