The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has fixed 28th-30th April 2026 for the Written Examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables (for both General Duty and Specialist applicants).
Angel Network News (ANN) gathered that
the exercise will take place at designated centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The Anambra State Police Command, under, CP. Ikioye Orutugu, urges all eligible candidates in the State to comply strictly with the above guidelines.
Candidates are advised to arrive early at the examination venue and conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
In Anambra State, the examination will be held at the Federal Government Technical College, Awka.
According to a press statement signed by SP. Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command, only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible.
Qualified applicants are to log on to www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday, 24th April 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which indicates the specific date, time and venue of their test.
Required items on exam day are as follows: A pen, National Identification Number (NIN) Slip from NIMC (with clear photograph), Printed Examination Invitation Card. Dress Code: White shorts, white T‑shirt and white canvas.
The Police Service Commission reiterates that the recruitment process is entirely free and warns that any form of job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law.
