Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade, has continued to rid the state of illegal IGR collectors terrorizing motorist, traders and distorting the peace and ease of doing business.
OCHA Brigade, Anambra North zonal command embarked on total decongestion at Zik’s Avenue, Ochanja market, Minaj, Ozomaga and Silas work.
The agency in Onitsha North was at Onitsha metropolis to decongest market roads, traders doing business on drainages and arrest illegal IGR collectors terrorizing motorist and traders plying the road.
ANN reports that over five touts known for frequently harassing traders doing business and motorist conveying goods and services around the metropolis were arrested by the joint team of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, who took them unaware.
They confessed to collecting tax returns and remitting same to unnamed persons. ANN recalls that arrest has also been made at Eke Awka and some other part of the State Capital Territory.
