Anambra State House of Assembly has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo, security agencies for their relentless efforts in keeping Anambra State safe.
The Minority Leader, Rt. Hon. Onyebuchi Ofor before seconding the motion for adjournment, raised a matter of urgent public importance. He stated that the improvement and achievements recorded security wise was commendable.
According to Ofor; “Our security agencies through the help of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo who is a security oriented governor, has given his full support to all the security agencies.
Hon. Ofor, who is the member representing Ekwusigo constituency, commended the security agencies for collaborating with the vigilantes in neutralizing hoodlums days ago.
“There is no ANAMBRA person who will say that our governor is not working security wise. I am very pleased. I want to commend the commissioner of police and all the commanders for doing a wonderful job” Ofor submitted
Hon. Emeka Aforka, Somtochukwu Udeze, Ejike Okechukwu, Pete Ibide and Uzoma Eli, in their separate submissions, commended the gallant response of the security agencies.
“At some point, we were not sleeping with our eyes closed. The achievements of the security agencies has given so much courage and hope to Ndi Anambra who now attend events and social gatherings safely.
“We thank Soludo who has left no stone unturned by ensuring that Anambra is very safe and a destination for investment. A place where business and economic activities is moving peacefully.
“We are encouraging all security agencies to continue to put more effort. This is a very big achievement and we expect more from them,” he said.
Anambra Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor, urged the citizens to pay their taxes stating that it was from their taxes that the government would be able to deliver.
