Anambra State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Pauly Onyeka has inspected ongoing construction works at Urban Boys Secondary School, Fegge Onitsha as well as the ongoing construction work at a Specialist Hospital in Fegge, all in Onitsha South Local Government Area.
Speaking shortly after the inspection, Hon. Onyeka who was accompanied by senior members of the ministry, said that the essence of the visit was to see things for himself, and know how the contractor handling the project is abiding by the specifications of the contract.
Onyeka made it clear that he was satisfied with what the contractor has done so far, but added that a few areas where they made observations, they have mandated the contractor to correct them as quickly as possible, as Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration will not tolerate any work that is not up to the standards.
Hon. Onyeka noted that they will continue to supervise and monitor all the projects being executed under the Ministry of Housing by the Anambra State government to ensure that they conform with the best standards.
The Principal of the School, Mr. Emmanuel Anierobi, appreciated Governor Soludo for remembering them, praying God to bless him and his team.

in his visit at the Specialist Hospital Fegge, Hon. Onyeka who revealed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo, having discovered that Fegge is a well populated neighbourhood, and has no specialist hospital, decided to build the gigantic edifice for them to ensure that they benefit maximally from his administration’s policies and programmes, especially in the health sector.
The Commissioner commended the contractor for doing a wonderful job, but asked him to correct some skirmishes noticed during the inspection without delay, adding that with the speed at which the work is moving, in the next 3 to 4 months, the hospital would have been completed and the people of Fegge will have course to rejoice.
