Iran’s Guards Claim Missile Strike on Netanyahu’s Office Amid Escalating War

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed to have targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office in a missile strike, amid a flurry of retaliatory attacks that have intensified the Middle East conflict and raised fears of wider escalation.

The IRGC described the operation as part of a broader offensive against Israeli positions, also hitting a site linked to the regime’s air force commander.

In a statement posted on Telegram, the elite force said: “The office of the criminal Israeli PM, Netanyahu and the location of the regime’s Air Force commander were struck in targeted and surprise attacks by Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles during the 10th wave.”

Israeli authorities have not confirmed the strikes’ impact on Netanyahu, whose status remains unclear, but reported intercepting most projectiles while launching counterattacks that killed two senior Iranian intelligence officials.

The deceased were identified as Sayed Yahya Hamidi, deputy minister of intelligence for Israel affairs, accused of plotting against Jews, Western targets and regime critics, and Jalal Pour Hussein, head of Iran’s espionage division. Israel’s military labelled them “senior terrorists” and said additional high-value targets were eliminated.

The exchanges follow weeks of mounting hostilities, with no immediate casualty figures released by either side.
