A man identified as Dauda Bello has killed 71-year-old woman and sold her wrists, ankles in Ogun.
The Ogun State police command says it has arrested the 54 -year-old man, for killing one Mesesi Adisa, a 71 -year-old woman after which he cut off the victim’s wrists and ankles.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP ABIMBOLA OYEYEMI disclosed this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
According to Oyeyemi, the suspect was arrested on July 7 by operatives of Ogun state police command .He said the suspect was arrested following the sudden disappearance of the victim, who left home since June 8 and didn’t return home.
The PPRO said on interrogation, the suspect confessed to have known the victim for quite some time , and that they were both into the business of children trafficking.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, who commended the team for a thorough job has ordered that the case be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
He also directed that anybody who is directly or indirectly involved in the case be brought to book.
