Popular self-styled relationship coach Geh Geh has issued a public apology after videos circulated online purporting to show him getting married.
In a social media video released over the weekend, the self-styled adviser described himself as a “hypocrite” and urged Nigerians whose relationships may have been affected by his teachings to reconcile with their partners.
Geh Geh insisted the clips were digitally altered and that he had never planned to marry. “Nigerians abeg make Una forgive me. I be hypocrite. I no dey practice wetin I dey teach,” he said in the widely shared recording.
He continued: “I beg you abeg, make Una find somewhere for Una heart forgive me. Now to those of you wey my advice done spoil Una relationship abeg, go back go beg your girlfriend or your wife make she take you back.”
Addressing the wedding rumours directly, Geh Geh claimed he woke up to find himself edited into the footage. “No be say I plan to marry o. I just wake up this morning see say they don edit me into marriage,” he added.
Gehgeh said he accepted full responsibility for any damage his advice may have caused and asked those affected to reunite with their partners. The video has drawn mixed reactions online as Nigerians debate the authenticity of the circulating clips.
