NSCDC Recognizes Seven Personnel For Exceptional Service In Anambra

* Dennis Reuben emerges overall best performing officer for January

Anambra State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Mr. Olatunde Maku has enjoined officers and men of the agency to make positive impact as they discharge their duties. 

Angel Network News reports that Comdt. Maku stated this in Awka on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the maiden command wage award established by him to honor selected personnel of the command for their exceptional work,  outstanding professionalism, diligence and upholding the ethics of law enforcement. 

According to him, the establishment of the monthly award was spurned out of his initiative to boost personnel morale  in furtherance of their public duty. 

The NSCDC helmsman urged personnel to give in their best, be selfless, sacrificial and humane in their conduct and dealings to guarantee a positive appraisal to earn the award. 

Maku congratulated the awadees for scaling through the criteria used in selection describing their citations as a source of pride worthy of commendation and emulation especially by other officers. 

“As a way of motivating and encouraging officers and men, I have decided to establish this  monthly wage award. 

” This is a way to reward some of us who have displayed exemplary performance while discharging their duties.

” The objective is to emphasize the importance of commitment to duty, ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and professional excellence” he said.

The seven personnel of the command selected for the month of January 2024 award included Deputy Commandant Dennis Reuben, HOD Investigation & Intelligence, Deputy Commandant Alada Yakubu, HOD Operations Department, and Deputy Commandant Prominence Ukaobi, Head of Anti fraud Unit, for the senior category, while the junior category honorees are Inspector of Corps, Nwachukwu Michael, Corps Assistant II( CA II) Nwabueze Chinedu, CA III, Edwin Onyebuchi, and CA III Uzoegbunam Oluchukwu.  

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the overall best performing officer, Deputy Commandant Dennis Reuben  lauded the State Commandant for establishing the award and promised never to relent in doing their best to the Corps and the nation at large.
