Entertainer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, tragically passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at age 27.

2: Mohbad’s father is a pastor and he also has a church.
3: His previous stage name was 2Black. – He got his Mohbad which translated to “I’m bad“ stage name after a producer told him he was bad – a street way of saying he was very good with lyrics and songs.
4: His journey as a musician in the Nigerian entertainment industry dates back to 2016. He gained media attention after performing a version of Kizz Daniel’s ‘’Fvck You’’ song. He also released ‘’Owaala,” a song with Lil Frosh and Cblvck, in April 2019.
5: On January 1, 2020, he joined Naira Marley’s Marlian Music Record Label alongside Zinoleesky, Fabian blu, and Cblvck.
Mohbad has released series of singles including ‘’Oja,’’ ‘’Adura,’’ ‘’Balan Zia Gar,’’ ‘’Koma Jesun’’, ‘’Overhype’’, ‘’Imole’’, ‘’Ponmo sweet’’ and has featured the likes of numerous renowned artists such as Zlatan ibile, Lil Kesh, Oladips, Small doctor, Bella Shmurda, Lil Frosh, and others.
6: In 2022, Mohbad terminated his contract with Marlian Music Records citing abuse and exploitation.
7. In 2023, Mohbad’s friend Bella Shmurda revealed that Mohbad attempted suicide because of the rift between him and his former record label boss.
