The wife of veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has disclosed that her husband lived for several years with his long-time screen partner Osita Iheme, better known as Pawpaw.
Stephanie Promise Ikedieze shared the detail in a video that circulated online on September 10. She explained that the two comedy stars shared a home until she and Aki decided to begin their married life together.
According to her account, the friends then divided their belongings equally, including everyday items such as cutlery. The revelation drew laughter from those present as Aki listened nearby, at one point relying on a walking stick.
Aki stressed that the decision to stop living together did not stem from any disagreement. He said their friendship remains strong and that the change simply reflected different stages in their lives.
The pair rose to fame as one of Nollywood’s most popular comedy duos, known for their distinctive on-screen chemistry. Stephanie’s comments offered fans a rare insight into the close personal bond the two actors shared away from the cameras.
