Yeni Kuti, a Nigerian dancer, singer, and media figure, has explained why she would divorce due to adultery.
The late Fela Kuti’s daughter claimed that due of her adultery, she will never be able to leave her husband in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
She gave examples, pointing out that her mother stayed in her marriage and that her late father had 27 wives.
But she made it clear that she isn’t pressuring anyone to adopt her viewpoint.
“I won’t leave my husband if he’s cheating. That’s me. You can leave your own husband if he’s cheating; that’s you. Don’t judge me; I’m not judging you.
My father had 27 wives; my mother didn’t go. It’s me who will now come and go because of one girl. It cannot happen”.
