The Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU),
Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha has officially commissioned the University Souvenir Shop.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Prof. Omenugha emphasized that the Souvenir Shop should be seen beyond a commercial outlet.
According to the VC, it represents the University’s identity, a creative hub, and a powerful branding platform through which the institution can showcase itself to the world and project its vision of becoming a “Now University and a University of the Future.”
She further revealed that plans are underway to designate Wednesdays as a day of collective institutional representation, where staff and students are encouraged to proudly display the University’s colours, symbols, and brand identity.
Prof. Omenugha encouraged members of the University Community to visit, support, and patronize the Souvenir Shop as a means of strengthening institutional pride and visibility.
Angel Network News (ANN) gathered that
the Souvenir Shop houses a wide range of COOU-branded items, including uniforms, shirts, ties, caps, and other identity materials that reflect the University’s heritage and values.
