Screen veteran Ngozi Nwosu has issued a heartfelt appeal for financial assistance after spending three weeks in hospital, where she faces multiple surgeries.
In an emotional video posted on Instagram on Thursday, the actress appeared distressed as she urged fans and well-wishers not to abandon her in her time of need.
“My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalized now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help, don’t let me die,” Nwosu said in the clip.

She continued: “I know that you people never forsake me and I know that God will always see me through, but I’m begging you, my friends and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot as in pain.”
Nwosu, celebrated for her iconic roles in Nigerian cinema, directed supporters to contact her management team for contributions. She ended her message with a prayer: “My sickness will never be anybody’s portion. In Jesus’ name, thank you.”
The video has triggered an outpouring of concern and prayers from fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom expressed shock at her condition and wished her swift recovery.
