Nigerian beauty queen Oma Iruomachukwu Osele has won the inaugural Miss Continental World 2026 crown in Thailand, securing multiple awards at the international pageant’s grand finale in Ayutthaya on October 9.
Osele emerged overall winner ahead of India’s Shreeya Panda, who finished as first runner-up, according to reports published by Nigerian media outlets.
In addition to the main crown, Osele won the Queen of Africa, Best National Costume and Best Physique awards, capping an impressive performance at the competition.
Her victory followed an earlier success in September, when she won the World Premiere Award after topping the fan-voting competition hosted on Eventista’s 1Vote platform.
The Miss Continental World 2026 competition brought together international delegates in Thailand for a series of events culminating in the grand finale.
Osele’s multiple awards distinguished her performance, combining the overall title with recognition for her cultural presentation, physique and continental representation.
The Queen of Africa title recognised her standing among the African delegates, while the Best National Costume award celebrated her cultural attire.
Her earlier World Premiere Award also gave her recognition before the final, following a global fan-voting exercise.
Osele’s achievement represents a significant milestone for Nigeria’s pageant industry, giving the country the inaugural titleholder of the Miss Continental World competition.
