JUST IN: Qatar airline makes maiden flight to Port Harcourt

History was on Thursday made in Port Harcourt, the Rivers capital as a Qatar airline made its maiden flight from Doha to the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The airplane, QR 1433, (Boeing 787-8) Dreamliner arrived at exactly 11:18 am at the international wing of the Port Harcourt International airport in Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The Rivers State Deputy Governor, Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, received the flight which brought the Nigerian ambassador to Qatar.
